Nicholas Austen already had a thriving bridal hair and make-up business but wanted to take the next step. Opening her own salon in her home town of Knutsford, Cheshire. We were involved right from the start, to come up with the new logo design, promotional material design and print and website design and build. Just the sort of project we relish to get started on.
The whole theme of the salon was to be natural and calming so we put together a colour and set to work. The final logo used shades of slate blue and gold hues to really give it that luxury feel. Being an Aveda salon we had the use of their fantastic photography and these provided an excellent starting point to create the business stationery and promotional cards.
The website built on WordPress needed to provide the user with a glimpse of the sort of experience they will have when visiting the salon so strong colour blocks and natural images formed the overall design feel.
